How our peptides are tested

We do not test our own products. Each certificate names the laboratory that ran the analysis. We source both domestically and internationally, so the laboratory varies by batch. Purity is reported as measured on that lot, never as a catalogue-wide figure.

Who tests what

Laboratories do not all run the same tests, so certificates differ. This is what each certificate reports, read from the documents themselves, grouped by the laboratory it names and by who supplied it.

Not every certificate confirms identity. Purity by HPLC measures how much of the sample is the main compound; identity testing (by mass, or against a reference standard) confirms that the main compound is the one on the label. Some certificates also state that the sample information was supplied by the client, which means the laboratory attests to what it was sent and measured, not to where it came from.

How to read a certificate

Using our BPC-157 10mg certificate as the example (open the PDF to follow along).

SAMPLE NAME AND LOT
BPC-157 10mg / ABL-BPC-2602
The lot is the batch the certificate covers. A certificate describes one lot, and a different lot needs its own.
CHROMATOGRAPHIC PURITY
99.59%
The share of the sample that is the main compound, measured by HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography). It is a measurement of this lot, not a guarantee for every batch.
METHOD
HPLC-UV, LC-MS
HPLC-UV measures purity. LC-MS measures molecular mass, which confirms the compound's identity.
UNIT MASS
11.88 mg (from the document)
The amount of material measured in the vial tested, against a labelled 10 mg.
DETECTION WAVELENGTH
214 nm (from the document)
The UV wavelength used to detect peptide bonds in the HPLC run.
SOURCE LABORATORY
Freedom Diagnostics
The laboratory that ran the analysis. We name it on the product page and in the COA library.
DATE ISSUED
June 18, 2026
When the laboratory issued the certificate.
HPLC chromatogram from the BPC-157 10mg certificate
The chromatogram from the same certificate. Retention time runs along the bottom in minutes. The single tall peak is the main compound; small peaks elsewhere would be impurities. The purity figure is the main peak's share of the total peak area.

Compounds without a certificate

7 of 21 products do not have a certificate on file yet: AOD-9604 5mg, CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin 10mg (blend), DSIP - 15mg, FOXO4 10mg, SLU-PP-332 5mg, SS-31 10mg, Thymosin Alpha-1 10mg. Their product pages make no claim about testing, and the COA library lists them as in progress until a certificate arrives.
